How to build a rebreather (PartOne)

So we thought this time we would take a few photos while we built up our next Poseidon MK6 recreational rebreather.

If you are purchasing your own rebreather prior to doing your rebreather training with Kiwidiver please allow an extra half day on your course time so that we can help you set it up right.

  • check the parts list

    Check the Poseidon parts list that you have everything


  • Set up your Frog Indigo Wing for comfort

    Set up your wing first - we use the Frog Indigo 30lb wing

  • Poseidon 11 inch adaptor

    Attach the Poseidon 11 inch adaptor (additional part) to the drum

  • Frog Indigo 30lbs wing

    Attach the Frog 30lb wing to the 11 inch adaptor

  • Attach the Frog Aluminium backplate and harness

    Attach the Frog Aluminium backplate and harness (with optional pocket)

  • Check for comfort and positioning

    Check the unit for comfort and positioning

  • Dosnt the poseidon loof tiny on the frog wing

    The Poseidon Rebreather fits the Frog Indigo wing perfectly


  • Attach the poseidon rebreather tank bands (travel straps)

    Attach the Poseidon rebreather tank bands (travel straps)

  • Analise yor gas

    Analise your rebreather gas to check contents and labeling

  • Attach your O2 tank

    Attach your O2 tank to the right side of your rebreather
