Prerequisite: Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver, 18 years old, 40 Logged dives, EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months & current Doctors medical within 12 months.
At Kiwidiver every professional level course is customised to fit the individual so depending on your level of experience and the time you have available we work on a plan to get you the best training experience we can. The more time you can allow us the more additional training we can give you.
Unlike internships the express course is designed around getting you the qualification as fast as possible so that you can return to your home dive center to gain your experience there.
The more prepared you are for this course the better so we like to get you the materials beforehand and strongly recommend the PADI Dive Theory Online eLearning package.
Passing Qualification: Divemaster with 60 dives
If you want to either work in the industry as a Divemaster or you want to fully prepare yourself for your Instructor training then the internship experience will give you everything you need to be a professional in the Industry.
As part of the internship you will work with either Kiwidiver or one of our partner centers in a real working environment apprenticeship gaining valuable hands on experience with all aspects of a working dive center.
Prerequisite: Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver, 18 years old, 25 Logged dives, EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months & current Doctors medical within 12 months.
Passing Qualification: Divemaster with 100+ dives / Wreck Diver / Navigation Diver / Search & Recovery Diver / Drift Diver / Enriched Air Nitrox Diver / Shark Awareness Diver/ Equipment Specialist / Master Scuba Diver. (if you already have one of these specialties we will do another specialty in its place) Work experience as a divemaster at a beach front dive center preparing you to start your Instructor course.
