Racha Yai Island (big King Island)

Racha Yai is a granite island which means the water is always clear and the many shallow protected bays all around the island make it an ideal trip at any time of the year. Racha Yai is the perfect place to learn scuba diving in Phuket, for snorkelers, and for divers who haven't been in the water for a while.

Local residents in the coral gardens and stag horn reef include titan triggerfish, moray eels, cuttlefish, octopus and giant puffer fish.

You can also see trumpet fish, nose down in the reef hunting for food. Cornet fish are ever present as are large schools of twin-spot snapper, dog-eyed puffer fish and parrotfish. Some anemones can be found scattered amongst the hard corals with western clownfish in residence.

Enriched Air Nitrox Available if booked in advance. More Informationbooking

Racha Noi (little King Island)

Racha Noi is a beautiful uninhabited island, surrounded by hard coral reef, with huge granite boulders descending to depth at the north and south points. With Similan-like formations, the best visibility of all local sites, and the greatest chance of seeing manta rays and egale rays.

Ocasionaly Leapoard sharks and nurse sharks can be found at a number of the dive sites on Racha Noi.

Some of the dive sites can have strong or complex currents and most of the dive sites have access to deeper water for more challanging training or technical dive courses although there are pleanty of shelted bays with lots of interesting things to find.

On our information pages you will find a full discription and more photos and videos of this amazing dive site

Phi Phi

Koh Phi Phi has some of the best diving in Thailand. Best dived from our day boats leaving from Phuket to avoid the hustle & bustle of the Phi Phi tourist trap.

Limestone cliffs rise dramatically out of the sea and plunge straight back down underwater, forming the colorful soft coral walls.

There are more than 15 different dive sites with many rugged walls, interesting caves and cavern penetrations. Swim-through entrances are often obscured by dazzling clouds of glassfish and gorgonians. Sea fans harbor pipefish, seahorses and shrimpfish, keeping even the most experienced divers entertained for days.

At several dive sites it is comon to see black tip sharks cruising the reef and others you would normaly expect to find Turtles. Leopard sharks are also comon at several of the sites.

King Cruiser Wreck

The King Cruiser was used as a car & passenger ferry between Phi Phi Islands and Phuket. In May 1997 the ferry struck either Anemone Reef or Shark Point and sank between the two.

The wreck is 85m long and sits on the bottom at 32m although most of the dive is normaly conducted around 25m. The top of the wreck comes up to 15m so there is pleanty to see at all depths. The wreck is home to large schools of fish and occasionally a turtle or leopard shark can be found resting on the wreck.

Parts of the wreck have colapsed and advanced penetration is discouraged without proper training and equipment. Other areas of the wreck include large cavonus areas easily penetrated by the average diver and full of sheltering marine life.

As the wreck is sitting out in the open often there can be stronger currents and lower visability. Dive with an experienced guide to ensure you get the most out out of the dive.

Shark Point

Shark Point was given official marine sanctuary status in 1992. It's made up of 3 large rock pinnacles, the largest of which breaks the surface. These rocks abound with life. The sheer density and diversity of coral and fish life makes diving here a wonderful, sensual experience.

Shark Point is one of our favorite dive sites and easily compares to the Similans. With many soft and hard corals creating such a diversity of color and marine life.

Pinnacle one breaks the surface and the maximum depth around the pinnacles is 20-25m making it an easy dive with much to see for all levels of diver. When the current is stronger there can be lower visability but there are many sheltered areas with so much to see that this is never a booring dive.

Anemone Reef

Anemone Reef derives its English name from the profusion of lime green and sky blue magnificent anemone's that cover this pinnacle with all the colors you could wish for.

The top of the Pinnacle is submerged 5m below the surface about half way between Phuket and Phi Phi and not far from Shark Point & the King Cruiser Wreck. Maximum depth is about 25m unless you go well of the pinnacle.

Covered by a huge quantaty and veriety of both soft corals and anemones with many diferent spiecies of marine life it is one of the favorite destinations of underwater photographers. Although the pinnacle is not large and easy to circumnavigate, there s so much to see that it is easy to run out of dive time exploring the diversity of marine life.

It is not a dificult dive with many sheltered areas.More Informationbooking

Koh Doc Mai (flower Island)

Koh Doc Mai is not far from Chalong bay and is a little limestone island with limestone clifs rising out of the water and underwater cliffs droping to 25-30m. It is a wall dive often with a current that can make it a great drift dive.

There is much to see tucked in the cracks along the wall from bamboo Sharks to Ornate Ghost Pipefish and Seahorse. KDM also has one of the best selection of Nudibranks.

But when diving the wall do keep an eye out into the blue as Whale Sharks and other larger marine life can often pass by without being noticed.

There are also several caverns on KDM for those qualified who have the right equipment and training.

Hin Daeng / Hin Muang

Two of the best pinnacles dive sites in the Sothern Andaman Ocean.

These pinnacles are in deep water (so you need to keep an eye on your depth guage) with a rich covering of colorful soft corals and macro marine life. This attracts many pelagic visitors like Manta Rays, Eagle Rays and Whale sharks.

Large schools of fish are often found sheltering here with hunting activity ensuring this is never a dull dive.

These trips are either done by speed boat or by overnight boat from Phuket.

Our private charter catermaran Oaisis can also do trips to Hin Daeng & Hin Muang as part f you charter.
